Can you match an existing stain color?
Yes. Bobby hand-mixes stains and finishes to match an existing color in your home, or he can help you choose a new finish entirely if you want to reimagine the piece.
How long does a refinishing project take?
Most refinishing projects take a few weeks from drop-off to delivery, depending on the extent of repair work needed and current workshop volume. You will get a specific timeline in your estimate.

Do you work from photos or sketches of a piece I want recreated?
Either. Share reference photos, sketches, or just a description of what you're imagining, and Bobby will work with you to translate it into a buildable design and estimate.
How long does a custom commission take?
Custom pieces take longer than restorations — typically a couple of months depending on complexity and materials. Your estimate will include a realistic timeline before any work begins.

No — kits are meant for minor touch-ups and maintenance. For structural repair, refinishing, or heirloom-grade restoration, a full project with Bobby is still the right path.
